Zurich Airport Xmas Competition 2021 – participation rules
 

General
Zurich Airport is holding an Airport Xmas Competition from 19 November 2021 to 26 December 2021. It is possible to enter online. If several accounts are created in order to enter several times a day, the participant will be excluded from the rest of the competition. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the draw (except with the winners). The judge’s decision is final. Several main prizes will be given away each week.

All natural persons who are resident in Switzerland are eligible to enter. Employees of the Flughafen Zürich AG marketing team, agencies involved in designing the competition and competition associations, automated services and other professionalised/commercial participants are not permitted to enter. Flughafen Zürich AG reserves the right to exclude from the competition persons who are suspected of using unauthorised aids when entering the competition or who otherwise attempt to gain advantages for themselves or third parties through manipulation. In these cases, prizes can also be withdrawn and reclaimed retroactively. Flughafen Zürich AG also reserves the right to exclude from the competition persons who do not meet the participation rules.

Likewise, Flughafen Zürich AG reserves the right to terminate, alter or suspend the competition at any time. This applies in particular to reasons that would interfere with or prevent the proper running of the competition.

Data protection
By entering the competition, the participant accepts that data required for identification will be stored and processed for the purpose of identifying and contacting the winners and that a cookie that records the date and time of entry will be stored when participating.
The participant acknowledges that he/she is aware of these participation rules and agrees to their application.
Entry in the competition does not entail any obligation to purchase. It is possible to enter for free.

Prize claims cannot be transferred to other people. Prizes will not be paid out in cash.

Main prizes
5 prize draws will take place (on Mondays from 29 November to 27 December 2021) every Monday at 16:00. The deadline for entries for the last weekly prize draw is 26 December 2021 at 23:59. The weekly prize will be given away among all of the participants who entered in the relevant week (random draw), and the winner will be contacted by Flughafen Zürich AG by telephone at 16:00 each Monday. If the winner cannot be reached, a new winner will be drawn/contacted and the former winner forfeits the prize. Claims for compensation by initially drawn winners against Flughafen Zürich AG are excluded.

The prize must be claimed by 15 January 2022 at the latest and expires if not collected. The winner assumes responsibility for accepting the prize and bears all the related consequences. Prizes from partners not based at the airport will be sent by post. In this case, the postal address will be requested by e-mail when the winner is first contacted. Prizes will not be paid out in cash. It is not possible to post prizes from partners based at the airport.

Winners of flight tickets must be at least 18 years old or submit the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

Liability waiver
There is no legally enforceable claim to the transfer, payment or exchange of the prizes. Flughafen Zürich AG declines all liability to the extent permitted by law. Swiss law applies exclusively. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the competition. The judge’s decision is final.
